The
Jobe 36 inch sluice makes an excellent medium size sluice
box that can get the job done and it only weighs eight
pounds. It is made with quality craftsmanship and materials.
Some prospectors consider this to be the lightest, most
portable aluminum sluice available today. A great sluice
for backpacking into the hills.
The riffle system on this sluice box is precision laser
cut from a single piece of steel and then as a much
needed extra the riffles are zinc coated. This lightweight
riffle system will have you prospecting for years. The
body is made from marine grade aluminum.
The Jobe sluice boxes use two different riffle systems.
The first riffle system is a stream riffle system, this
makes it easier for the water to start moving the materials
down the sluice. The second riffle system is the Hungarian
riffle system. This section maximizes gold recovery.
Under the top of this sluice box you will find ribbed
black rubber matting. This allows you to spot gold quickly
and acts as a good gauge on whether or not your material
